The ECN Writing Workshop is back! The first ECN Writing Workshop held in May 2024 was a huge success, and very well received by the ECN and the broader IASC community. Celebrating the success of this initiative, we would like to introduce the second edition of the writing workshop to be held in May 2026. The theme for this workshop is ‘Reimagining the Commons’.
The study of commons has been traditionally focused on natural resources and environmental management, but in recent years, the concept of commons has been expanded into other interesting domains, such as digital commons, space commons, knowledge commons, and so on. As a growing community, ECN is pleased to announce the ECN Biennial Workshop: Reimagining the Commons, to be held on May 25-27, 2026. This online workshop seeks to bring together early-career researchers on the study of commons, with thematic and methodological innovation.
